Notes

  1. The list of codes is available from OHR at <https://www.hawaii.edu/ohr/documents/1717/>. If that link becomes stale, look for Employing Agency Code in <https://www.hawaii.edu/ohr/hr-info-systems/peoplesoft/>.
  2. The EAC consists of a 10 digit number with the department (cols 1-2), division (cols 3-4), branch (cols 5-6), section (cols 7-8), and unit (cols 9-10) fields and is structured according to the University organizational charts.

  3. The Department code (first 2 digits) of the EAC is always “22" signifying “University of Hawaii.

  4. Abolished EACs are kept for historical purposes.

  5. PeopleSoft does not store the leading 22 as part of the EAC.  The EAC exists as as three separate values for DIV, BRN and SEC.  Each of these is 3-digits long.
