Visitor Internet Access
The ability to quickly provision a visitor account may be useful for creating test and guest accounts in Production.
VIA provides visitors access to services that use the ITS authentication infrastructure for access control.
Visitor accounts created using VIA are not assigned a UH Username or a UH Number, however, they are available for authentication to any application that utilizes CAS. Depending on the access controls coded into your application, this could be a useful way to quickly provision guest access to your application.
