Announcing

UH Groupings 2.1 is scheduled to be released to the community on Sunday, May 16, 9:00 AM (TO BE ANNOUNCED).   It will not be available between 8:00 and 9:00 AM Sunday morning.

New features include:

  • UI design improvements thanks to the help of several student and staff web designers
  • New "description" setting for describing a grouping to people
  • Show membership counts to owners
  • Improved support for very large groupings
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

What next

Work on UH Groupings 2.2 is already well underway.  Release is tentatively planned for Fall 2021.

Future features:

  • Additional UI and usability improvements
  • Membership batch import and remove features
  • New administrative functions
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements

UH Groupings has been under continuous development by an ITS student team since version 2.0.  The team invests substantial effort to ensure ADA compliance.

The project code is published on GitHub as an open source project for higher education institutions.
