uhScopedHomeOrg

Element Name

uhScopedHomeOrg

Description

The home organization within a system of record.

Several Systems of Record identify a "primary" or "home" institution for an individual. If a System of Record does not implement this concept, it will not be represented herein.

  • For HR purposes, the home institution is considered to be the primary institution for handling the respective HR paperwork. For example, a person with dual roles might be a UH Manoa student also working as full-time staff at KCC. KCC would be responsible for handling the person's personnel forms and UH Manoa would be responsible for handling the person's Admissions and Records forms.
  • For academic purposes a student's primary curriculum correlates with the student's home campus.
