Notes:

• The current Banner environment cannot determine with 100% accuracy in all scenarios whether a student has permanently left.  UHIMS uses catch-all logic whereby it expires the student affiliation immediately after the last add/drop date for each Fall or Spring semester.  Because semester dates and deadlines can change, UHIMS currently simplifies its logic as follows:
  • Expire Fall students on the July 1st right after the Spring for which they've failed to register courses.
  •  Expire Spring students on the December 23rd right after the Fall semester for which they've failed to register courses.
