Create Non-ITS Staff Record
General Information
Add a new non-ITS staff member to the system. Example would be an RCUH employee working for ITS or our human resource representative or our former Admin staff.
Workflow
Trigger Event: The administrator clicks on the “Add New Non-ITS Staff” link on the admin menu under the “Manage Staff Personnel Info” section
Process Flow:
The administrator enters the UH Username of the staff to add to the system
The administrator inputs the required data
The administrator clicks the Add button to create the record
Outcome: The personnel (if doesn’t exist) and the persposition records are created.
Input Requirements
Input Fields:
UH Username
Source:
LDAP
Name and UH Number is pulled from LDAP based on the set as static fields; these two fields are static and cannot be changed
Administrator
Input required fields through the user interface
Business Rules
Validation Rules:
Only a user with an internal role, i.e. SYS-DEV, SYS-ADM, ADM, can perform this function
Conditional Logic:
If the staff does not have a UH Number yet, they will not have a username. They must get a UH Username first before being entered into the system.
If the record with the username and position number already exists in the system, display a message indicating that the record already exists and disable the “Add” button.
