Create New Student Record
 General Information
Add a new student employee to the system
 Workflow
Trigger Event: The administrator clicks on the âAdd New Studentâ link on the admin menu under the âManage Student Personnel Infoâ section
Process Flow:
The administrator enters the UH Username or UH Number of the student to add to the system
SECE Data is pre populated on the form using the staffâs UH number
The administrator inputs the required data
The administrator clicks the Add button to create the record
Outcome: The studentâs personnel (if doesnât exist) and the persposition record is created.

In order to be added as an ITS employee, the student must have a record in the SECE System. Clicking "Add Student" with both fields blank will display all ITS students with WDC = 032, 054, 553, 850, 053 with both Active and Inactive status.
The prefilled fields are name, job number, position title, pay rate, hire date, supervisor, placement type, sece status, termination date

Validation Rules:
Only a user with an internal role, i.e. SYS-DEV, SYS-ADM, ADM, can perform this function
Conditional Logic:
If no username or UH number is input, send to the list of students whose record can be created in the system.
If the record with the UH Number and position number already exists in the system, display a message indicating that the record already exists and disable the âAddâ button
 Error Handling
Common Errors:
Invalid username or UH number input
Student is not in the SECE System
Resolutions:
Display an invalid entry message
Display an error message indicating that the student must be in the SECE System with a warrant code of 032, 054, 553, 850, 053
