The script inserts a new SHRTTRM record which then allows the campus to run the SHRTYPE process to update the student type in SGASTDN. Student type is one of the criteria used for registration time ticketing.

Manoa script is slightly different as it also includes inserting the SHRTTRM record for the Outreach extension term (XXXXY3) if the student only has enrollment in the extension. The script is attached. Terms should be updated with XXXXY0 & XXXXY3, respectively.

Scripts:

  • 1-Identify Students: Logic to determine which students this will select

    • Provide Functional with list of Student ID’s for testing purposes

  • 2-Insert Statements: This is the insert statement logic

  • 3-Verify Records Added: Verify records were updated
