Secretary Access
Dana Hane confirmed the following for the creation of the Secretary Role and access limitations.
Secretaries should have basically the same access as Managers, but the content of the page should be further redacted as follows:
- limit access to the SECTION hierarchy they fall under
- redact the following:
- Payment info section
- Home contact addresses (show only work contact info)
- Emergency contact addresses (show only name and phone#s)
Dana Hane will share the RCUH interface with Secretary access, but:
- based on the role of "secretary", this person:
- will only be able to manage NON-ITS records
- the same redaction must be enforced
- this requires the following applied:
- the role must default to NON-ITS value as the only option
- the position# must default to a dummy NON-ITS position# (ex. 000000)
- otherwise, they will only have blue-side only, read-only, and redacted access to other STAFF/STUDENT records in their same SECTION hierarchy
- will only be able to manage NON-ITS records
