KoaCloud is based on the Nextcloud platform: Nextcloud - Open source content collaboration platform .

Feature of KoaCloud:

  • A sync client for desktops and mobile devices

  • Ability to use a web portal to upload and download files

  • Ability to create/edit/share/collaborate on documents (primarily word (docx), excel (xlsx), powerpoint (pptx) )

  • Ability to create shared links with options to password protect, email to someone (UH and/or non-UH), expire the link by a certain date.

  • Ability to create public upload directories

  • Ability to mount the storage as a network drive using webdav

  • Authentication via UH credentials for the web portal and application tokens/passwords for the sync client and webdav

  • User managed (admin/moderator) access to the storage pool
