Background

Spaces help to organize applications on the main menu. It’s difficult to find an application given the sheer number of apps UH has. Spaces allow for campus branding, child or sub spaces, and app creator permissions in that space.

Questions

  • Does branding automatically apply to an app moved to a space?

    • Yes it does!

  • How many space administrators can a space have?

    • As many as you want. Space administrators can be an individual, a group, a role, an affiliation

  • I don’t have the New App button when I got to my space. How do I create apps there?

    • Ask your space administrator to add you as a space member to that space

  • Are we allowed to change the space branding?

    • Each space has been branded according to the UH Communications office recommendations on color codes and UH seals. Changes to the top level space should remain unchanged unless the UH Communications office updates their recommendations. Sub spaces can be branded any way the space admin sees fit.
