Workflow

  • Applicant -> DC -> DPC -> Dean -> TPRC -> Chancellor
    • current system goes to DPC and then the DC
  • What are the references in the T&P steps document to "Complete Section X"?
  • Get clarification on the "per unit" requirement
  • When do the external letters get attached to the application? Is it part of the dossier or a separate bucket?

Deadline task list

  • What's the TPRC deadline? When they must start the review? When they must finish the review?  What task is it on the list?
  • Is there an exclusion form deadline?

Application Form - Manoa

  • Tenure with Automatic Promotion to Rank 4
    • equivalent to CC's Tenure With Promotion?
  • we don't allow the applicant to select multiple types; can I and R at Rank 4 just select Tenure and Promotion?
  • Do we need to capture the Employee Details, Criteria and Guidelines, Credentials and Experience, Endeavors
    • Is this stuff that is put in the dossier, especially the last couple of sections?

 

Eligibility

  • Who fills out the eligibility portion?
  • Are there any additional fields that Manoa requires that are not on the eligibility screen?
  • Need to add different appointment types (I, I-R,J,M,R,S,B,A)

    • Date of tenure at UH Manoa

  • their current process stores the dossier documents on Laulima

Exclusion Form

  • OVCAA maintains a separate website to track tenure, contract renewals, and periodic reviews (https://manoa.hawaii.edu/ovcaa/tprc/index.php)
    • it lists which faculty are and are not available to serve on TPRC committees
    • Is there a REST endpoint available for integration with T&P?

Committees

  • Who sets up the committees?

Recommendations

  • Is there a designated Chair to make recommendation and upload report?
  • Is a report required or just a recommendation?
