Workflow

  • Applicant -> DC -> DPC -> Dean -> TPRC -> Chancellor
    • current system goes to DPC and then the DC
  • When do the external letters get attached to the application? Is it part of the dossier or a separate bucket?

  • Who fills out the eligibility portion?
    • faculty but have the Office Coordinators (OC) do it
  • Are there any additional fields that Manoa requires that are not on the eligibility screen?
  • Need to add different appointment types (I, I-R,J,M,R,S,B,A)
  • We do not capture
    • primary or secondary dept and college/unit
    • %FTE
    • %G funded
    • %other funds
    • Date of tenure at UH Manoa
    • Date of last promotion at UH Manoa

  • their current process stores the dossier documents on Laulima
    • incorrect, the dossier is still a hard copy binder
    • Laulima is used by the TPRC reviewers to discuss application and to do the voting

Exclusion Form

  • OVCAA maintains a separate website to track tenure, contract renewals, and periodic reviews (https://manoa.hawaii.edu/ovcaa/tprc/index.php)
    • it lists which faculty are and are not available to serve on TPRC committees
    • Is there a REST endpoint available for integration with T&P?
      • no but Deena will talk to Mano

Committees

  • Who sets up the committees?
    • OCs up until the Dean and then CC for the TPRC

Recommendations

  • Is there a designated Chair to make recommendation and upload report?
    • yes they can go along with that
  • Is a report required or just a recommendation?
    • yes a report
