You can request the following groupings to manage your department's compliance with GCN or ISAT.
These groupings automatically calculate who is compliant, who is not, and who needs to renew soon. This saves you from having to retrieve the date of compliance for each person and figuring out whether the person is compliant. It is very easy to make a mistake given the complexity of the ACER Compliance Periods
In a nutshell, the compliance periods are as follows:
- A GCN compliance period always begins on Oct 1st and ends 12 months later on Sep 30th. You can renew for the next GCN period up to one month ahead (between Sep 1st and Sep 30)
- An ISAT compliance period always begins on Oct 1st of an even-numbered year, and it ends 24 months later on Sep 30th. You can renew for the next ISAT period up to two months ahead (between Aug 1st and Sep 30)
The dates in the table below (e.g. Sep 30, Aug 1) are not examples. They are the actual month and day of the month based on the above compliance periods.
