Revised dates for maintenance due to Hurricane Douglas

IAM production environments will be receiving updates and patches as described below.

Saturday, August 01, 6:00 – 8:00 AM

• Production CAS
  
  • OS updates will be applied
  • Java will be updated to 1.8.0_221
  • Tomcat will be updated to 8.5.57
  • This should be transparent since the service is load balanced.
    
    
• Production Shibboleth
  • OS updates will be applied.
  • Java will be updated to 1.8.0_221
  • Tomcat will be updated to 8.5.57
  • This should be transparent since the service is load balanced.

Sunday, August 02, 6:00 – 8:00 AM

• Production Grouper (UH Groupings)
  • OS and database updates will be applied.
  • Java will be updated to 1.8.0_221
  • Tomcat will be updated to 8.5.57

• Production LDAP
  • OS and LDAP server patches will be applied.
  • This should be transparent since the service is load balanced.
  • You will need to restart your application if it maintains a persistent connection.

Sunday, August 02, 6:00 – 9:30 AM

• Production RabbitMQ (UH Message Broker, UHIMS Events)
  
  • OS updates will be applied.
  • You will need to restart your application if it maintains a persistent connection.
•  Other services such as username requests, password changes, and other administrative applications which rely on our services may also be unavailable while our services are undergoing maintenance.
