Element Name

UH Scoped Home Organization

Purpose

Several Systems of Record identify a "primary" or "home" institution for an individual. If a System of Record does not implement this concept, it will not be represented herein.

  • For HR purposes, that institution is consider to be the primary institution for handling the respective paperwork. For example, a person might be a UH Manoa student working full-time at KCC. KCC would be responsible for handling the person's personnel forms and UH Manoa would be responsible for handling the person's Admissions and Records forms.
  • For academic purposes a student's primary curriculum correlates with the student's home campus.

Notes

  1. As information is received from each System of Record the stored data is updated with the most recent information provided.
  2. Regarding financial aid: while multiple campuses can package and award the student, only the home campus may authorize and disburse aid. Any of the campuses can participate in assisting the student, depending on the current stage of the process.
